Elections

An interesting article today in a gujarati daily newspaper encouraging the people to vote for the upcoming LOKSHABHA ELECTIONS. It seems to be a good initiative to encourage people to go out and vote to choose their right leaders. The article says "The parents of those students who will go and vote during these elections will be given 2 marks additional in the subject of CIVICS." This step is taken by the principal Shivraj Pimpurde of a school named "GYAN PRABHODHINI SAIKSHANIK SANSTHA" in Pune, MAHARASHTRA. And on the other hand there are few youths saying "I ABSTAIN TO VOTE AGAINST THE INCOMPETENT AND SELF-CENTERED POLITICIANS, SHAME ON INDIAN DEMOCRACY." I don't understand how much fare is it? Is it the shame on the INDIAN DEMOCRACY by abstaining to vote or  making INDIAN DEMOCRACY feel SHAME by refraining to vote?

  1. We cant say dis as a shame on our democracy....but wat can one do to our incompetent and self centered politicians......But dis is not d solution also.ppl make dis a solution becoz dey cant do anything.....All dey can do is to sit at home widout voting.......I think d possible solution to dis is to combine and go after jst throwing dese type of politicians off d throne by simply VOTING........YES VOTING IS D SOLUTION FOR ALL
SO ALL PPL MUST VOTE 4 A DEMOCRATIC INDIA.

  2. It seems like INDIAN DEMOCRACY is now on paper only... We need to urge to everyone to go out n vote for a "DEMOCRATIC INDIA"...Yea, of course everyone has to go out and vote to chose the right leaders and throw off the wrong ones from the throne... Still there are internal enemies of the country who are not willing the aam aadmi (Common MAN) to do so... in todays first round of election NAXALITES striked at fourteen places.... In a village in Bihar only single women came out to vote n later regretted on voting to media on asking...
